2016 Portuguese Festival

Over 30,000 visitors are expected in Provincetown this weekend to attend the annual Portuguese Festival and Blessing of the Fleet. Proudly sharing the heritage of Portugal & Provincetown, this weekend of parades, food and dancing serves as the official start to the summer season in our seaside community.  The weekend finale begins Sunday with mass at Saint Peter the Apostle Church at 10:30 am, and service is followed by a procession to Macmillan Pier.  2016 will be the 69th Blessing of the Fleet.  For everything you need to know about the Provincetown Portuguese Festival, head to the event’s official website.
