PROVINCETOWN — Provincetown police helped rescue a juvenile short-beaked saddleback dolphin early Monday morning, according to a Facebook post by the Police Department.

Police responded to the dolphin stranding shortly after 6 a.m., the post says. The small mammal was found on the flats roughly 400 feet from the beach west of the Atlantic Street beach landing.
