Leslie Cararra-Rudolph | Special Family Week Show

Leslie Carrara-Rudolph is a multi-faceted entertainer, puppeteer, voice-over artist, writer and creator. She is best known for performing Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street, for which she has received 5 Emmy nominations for Best Performer in a Children’s Series. She was recently nominated for an Annie Award for Outstanding Achivement in Voice Acting for her character Bubbles on the Jim Henson Company’s Splash And Bubbles. A graduate of San Francisco State University (BA, Child Development Through The Arts), Leslie got her start as a puppeteer on ABC’s Muppets Tonight. Leslie’s dedication to children’s entertainment extends from her outreach work with kids at risk to writing content for her original character Lolly Lardpop. Leslie’s original writing has been developed at the Ojai Playwright’s Conference and the Eugene O’Neill Puppetry Conference, and she has received an UNIMA Citation of Excellence and a Jim Henson Foundation grant for her show “Wake Up Your Weird”, which debuted off-Broadway in NYC at the Marjorie S. Dean Little Theater.
