Join us for an enchanting evening and screening of Annie Weatherwax’s animated short, “Monster in a Dress” in the Courtyard Cinema at The Mary Heaton Vorse House in Provincetown. The film explores Weatherwax’s personal journey growing up in an immigrant family as a girl who didn’t conform to traditional gender roles. It chronicles her relationship with her grandmother – a powerful matriarch who saves her life by bringing a long buried family secret to light.

A screening of the film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker. Cocktails and Middle Eastern Mezze will be served!
