PROVINCETOWN — After an extensive renovation project the north beach access and parking lot of Herring Cove officially reopened following a ribbon-cutting ceremony early Monday.

The $3.3 million rebuilding of the eroding parking area was “truly a collaborative effort,” said Brian Carlstrom, superintendent of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

U.S. Rep. William Keating praised the Seashore and park rangers for their efficient communication throughout the revamping.
