An Evening with the Right Whale Team

A special evening of conversation with the Right Whale Ecology Program team, illustrated with images from their aerial and boat surveys, to learn more about the research and the researchers! They will share memorable moments from their work; provide insight into the goals, challenges, and rewards of their research; and engage in a lively conversation with those in attendance.

Chamber Music for the Outer Cape “Friendship and Admiration”

February 2, 2019 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

Chamber Music for the Outer Cape presents two works by composers whose friendship and admiration became legendary in the 19th century musical world, Joannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak. The first half of the concert will present the beloved but less performed Brahms Horn Trio where the horn replaces the cello with its lovely mellow tones. The second half will feature the brilliant bravura of Dvorak’s Piano Quartet in E flat opus 87. an excellent work to hear the “endless melodies” that poured from Dvorak’s pen.

Winter Wednesdays

Winter Wednesdays is back for 2019! It’s a free community program aimed at bringing people together to learn new skills, meet other locals, and stay active and connected during the quiet winter months on Cape Cod. The community comes together to socialize and stay connected with classes and activities such as card making, pie baking, woodworking, acting Shakespeare, movie musicals, meditation, and more. The program runs every Wednesday from February 6 – March 27. Check out the list of classes here.
