When: November 21, 2018
Where: Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum
About: The annual lighting of the Pilgrim Monument celebrates the Pilgrims’ first landing in the New World in Provincetown on November 11, 1620. It is one of Cape Cod’s most beautiful traditions. The “switch” is thrown around 6pm, but it’s preceded and followed by a lot of festivities, including live music, speeches, cookies and cider. Admission is free.
The Pilgrim Monument is festooned with more than three thousand “landing lights” that continue to shine through January 6th of the new year.
