2019 Fall/Holiday Provincetown Guide

The ptownie 2019 Fall/Holiday Guide to all things Provincetown is now available in both print and online formats.

“We realized how critical it is for Provincetown to remain front-of-consciousness for summer visitors who might want to come back in the fall, and to connect year-rounders with the events and services they need,” says Mike Miller, founder and owner of ptownie. “Our summer guide was so popular this year that we decided to stay with that format and extend it out through the fall and winter months to continue to offer ideas, information, and more… year-round!”

The ptownie Guide to Provincetown includes some familiar categories—how to get here, how to get around, what is new, exciting, and cutting-edge—but also has a section on purely winter activities, such as clamming, and on lecture series, trivia nights, Winter Wednesday offerings, and the famous Mews coffeehouse, all especially “off-season” events and activities.

Of exceptional utility is the “What’s Open in Provincetown” section of the guide, covering restaurants, bars, lodging, services, and retail hours. “There’s nothing worse than making plans expecting something to be open and finding it’s not,” says Miller. “We’ve collected hours and schedules from local businesses so no one’s ever caught out. Now people can plan their Ptown visit around opening times for the restaurants and shops they love!”

Dates and detailed descriptions of all the various Provincetown events are included, as well as a number of special “ptownie tips” running through the publication, so everyone can get an insider feel to the town and its off-season life. Readers can find where to work out, where to get pampered, where to find entertainment, and even (eventually) where to access adult-use marijuana.

This guide is now available on the Boston-Provincetown ferry and at lodging establishments, coffee shops, restaurants and retail shops all over town.
