PROVINCETOWN —The Zoning Board of Appeals has voted unanimously to reconsider an earlier decision on a controversial Bradford Street condominium project because of what the board’s chairman called “serious unanticipated misstatements” by a town-hired surveyor.

“His retraction couldn’t be more contradictory to his 11th hour statement he made here in this hearing room,” ZBA Chairman Jeffrey Gould said during the board’s Thursday meeting.
