PROVINCETOWN — At Monday night’s special town meeting, Provincetown voters approved a $6 million sewer expansion project, spending to acquire a large parcel of undeveloped land and another lot on Commercial Street for a waterfront park, and several zoning changes.

The sewer expansion is expected to bring an additional 155,000 gallons of wastewater capacity a day to Provincetown, allowing more properties in the center of town to hook up to the sewer and creating more capacity for existing hookups.
