This Saturday, April 20th, at 7:00 pm at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, join moderator Heather Goldstone from WCAI and a panel of experts discussing Ocean Cities: Exploring Our Connection to the Sea, a documentary that demonstrates how some coastal cities around the world have already responded to sea level rise and what lessons may apply to the Cape.

The film also sets up the question of what kinds of new projects and public policies will be necessary to protect life and property along the shore as the warming climate fuels stronger and more damaging storms.

Panel members include Jack Clarke, Mass Audubon’s director of public policy and government relations; Heather McElroy of the Cape Cod Commission; and James McGregor, author of Venice from the Ground Up.

The film is presented in collaboration with Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and WCAI. Admission for all Sea Change films is $12.00.
