Winter Wednesdays 2019
February 6 – March 27
At the Provincetown Schools
12 Winslow Street
Winter Wednesdays, a free community program offering fun and interesting classes on a drop-in basis on Wednesday evenings during the coldest, darkest months of the year, returns in February and March 2019. Supported by the Provincetown Schools, Provincetown Department of Housing and Economic Development, Provincetown Public Library, Provincetown Health Department and now the Truro and Wellfleet Health Departments, the program is entering its third year. Classes take place Wednesday evenings from 6 – 8 pm at the Provincetown Schools, 12 Winslow Street (enter through the Grace Hall lot, by the playground).
While the classes are open to all, 2019 brings two new features for residents of Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet: free transportation for those who need a ride, and free childcare for children aged 5-12. To take advantage of either feature, advance registration is required by noon on the Wednesday of the class you are taking. For a ride, call Cape Cab at 508-487-2222 and mention “Winter Wednesdays” – rides are only available to the Provincetown Schools. For childcare, email coordinator Shane Landry at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Wednesday of the class you are taking with the names and ages of the children to be registered.
