    A charming, solar powered, light-filled, and private beach cottage right on Cape Cod Bay!

    In this second to last house on a dead end road, enjoy views of the National Seashore to the south and east and Cape Cod Bay to the west. Outdoor living with indoor comfort.

    Relax and read a book on the deck overlooking the bay. Watch fishing boats during the day. Falling stars or twinkling Provincetown lights at night. Enjoy ocean breezes and breathtaking sunsets over the water with a glass of wine or while grilling your fresh catch-of-the-day.

    Great running , walking, road and mountain biking from the door. Steps to the beach. Rent or bring a kayak or stand-up paddle board and paddle from your very own beach. Build a sand castle with the kids. Play Frisbee. Sail.

    Snuggle up on high quality, slip-covered furniture. Let lapping waves lull you to sleep under lightweight down comforters.

    Natural air flow and water views throughout from the open kitchen and dining area to the cozy living room.

    Take an outdoor shower.

    We use environmentally friendly and fragrance-free cleaning products when possible.

    Living room has large slip-covered couch, chair and coffee table. It is convenient to the deck and beach.

    Kitchen is well appointed, open to the living area and convenient to the deck and beach. Reverse osmosis water filter system. Oven is electric. Outdoor grill is gas.

    The wooden deck spans the width of the house and faces the bay.

    The light-filled master bedroom is has a queen Vermont Tubbs bed fitted with an organic mattress and light weight cotton blanket. Closet and armoire. Reading lights. Eastern exposure. 3 awning windows provide great airflow.

    Light-filled bunk room sleeps 4. Two sets of bunk beds fitted with light weight cotton blankets. Closets and drawer space. Each bunk has it's own reading light. An accordion divider gives you the option of of dividing the room in two bedrooms (mirror image…a bunk bed on each side). The maximum occupancy is 6. The dining table seats 6. Bring your own linens as they are not provided. (each bed has a lightweight cotton blanket, mattress pad and pillow (no pillowcase) )

    Bathroom 1 is upstairs adjacent to the living area. (shower/toilet/sink)
    Bathroom 2 is on the lower level adjacent to a storage area. (shower/toilet/sink)

    Reverse osmosis water filter system.

    There is also an outdoor shower.

    Heat and air-conditioning. (integrated with our solar system!)

    Onsite parking.

    There is no TV but the wi-fi is fast enough for streaming. Also fast enough for ZOOM meetings.

    Bring linens and consumables (i.e. paper towels, hand soap, dish soap…) They aren't provided so be sure to bring them with you.

    The house will be professionally cleaned to CDC guidelines before your arrival.

    Stereo is an AWIA 3 CD/duel cassette/digital radio compact stereo system.

    We have a random selection of games and books. There is also a little free library on the beach access near the end of the driveway.

    The Neighborhood~

    The house sits nestled among the dunes surrounded by dune grass and wild roses. Private and quiet, yet close to everything. A short drive or bike ride to the center of Truro (2 1/2 miles) and you'll find groceries, a fish market, post office, town park with regular outdoor concerts and seasonal weekly farmer's market.

    Ballston Beach (closest ocean beach) is 4 miles away.

    Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill is just up the road.

    Provincetown is 10 miles away (restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, dune tours, whale watches, bike path) and Wellfleet (where there is still a drive-in movie theater!) is just 4 miles.

    Solar powered. The perfect home away from home whether you want to ride your bike or paddle all day, relax on the beach or just spend time in a cool place. Come and enjoy!

    Consumables are not provided.
    Pets will be considered (upon request only) with an additional charge of $50/pet/night.

    $100 discount/week for multiple weeks. For any additional fees, State and local taxes of 14.45% will apply
