Now in its eleventh year, FAGBASH has become a Provincetown institution. This weekly theme-based all-inclusive underground event honors Ptown’s queer roots and provides a stage for emerging artists/performers/DJs. It strives to provide a safe space for all the misfits of the world. Guest selectors this week are DJs Scooter (Toronto) + Nark (Seattle).

Camp Lightbulb Variety Show

July 6, 2018 from 8:00 pm – 10:00pm at Town Hall

Since 2012, Camp Lightbulb has been providing queer youth with a top-rated sleep-away camp and an empowering summer experience. And now it’s your chance to help—while having a great time! Camp Lightbulb is presenting a variety show and fundraiser at Provincetown Town Hall on July 6th from 8pm to 10pm. Tickets are a mere $10 and are available at the door or online at camplightbulb.org/events.

Zoë Lewis will be the variety show MC, and Branden & James (from America’s Got Talent) will be special guests and making their Provincetown summer debut. The Camp Lightbulb Campers provide the core entertainment with acts filled with quirkiness, talent, and wizardry.

A special guest is Candace Collins, Provincetown Chamber of Commerce executive director, retiring this year; she has been a camp champion from the very star.

Camp Lightbulb campers come from across the LGBTQ spectrum, with varying gender identities and sexuality, and come from all income levels, many receiving financial aid and scholarships. Donations are always gratefully accepted.

There are great shows at the Crown & Anchor and the Art House, a nightly Bear Block Party outside Spiritus Pizza at 1:00am, picnics, sunset cruises, tours, Bears On The Beach, and a lot more. Daddy-Bear Organizer John Burrows keeps the schedule fun and the atmosphere joyous for all.
