    About: The Center for Coastal Studies’ annual whale week coincides with family week to offer lots of child-centric activities centering around whale exploration and conservation. Kids and adults alike can “Run The Trails for the Whales” (a 5K run, starting at the Visitors’ Center), learn about the various whale species and how to keep them from becoming or staying endangered, learn how to disentangle a whale, build a boat together for the homemade boat race, participate in a version of The Amazing Race up at the Pilgrim Monument, go on a sunset cruise, and more.
