Back by popular demand, Annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument returns on Thanksgiving eve! The lights go on at 5pm, but the fun begins at 3pm! This cherished event serves two purposes: 1. Commemorating the Mayflower Pilgrims’ arrival in Provincetown, and 2. Bringing us together to “throw the switch,” illuminating the Monument and celebrating the town we love. With hundreds of attendees expected; DJ Emerson spinning tunes; a cash bar for beer, wine and hard seltzers; and a bake sale for sweets and hot chocolate, this year will be filled with excitement, connection and community spirit.
