The holiday season will be extra special this year, as beloved comic genius Dina Martina will blanket Provincetown in yuletide merriment with THE DINA MARTINA CHRISTMAS SHOW at Crown & Anchor.

This hysterically funny show, like all of Martina’s shows, promises to be a truly wondrous and surreal blend of questionable song, unnecessary dance, overburdened costumes, and side-splitting video. Add to that Miss Martina’s favorite seasonal tradition – distributing pointless (and seriously coveted) holiday gifts to lucky audience members – and you have a truly treasured holiday tradition. It is nearly impossible to adequately describe a Dina Martina show, other than that they’ve become synonymous with jaw-dropping pathos and mind-blowing comedy. What a Dina Martina show is, is a smart and hilarious evening of entertainment you will never forget.

The beloved Provincetown tradition is back for its seventh year at The Canteen Holiday Market! Starting the day after Thanksgiving and running until New Years, the Canteen transforms into a magical, cozy place to gather, enjoy holiday foods and drinks, and buy handcrafted goods from local artisans. This year, we will be offering several different experiences for you to enjoy — all in one trip or over several outings to our little “village.”

Written & directed by Brittany Rolfs and Joao Santos, The Green Fairy will transport you to “The Lounge”, where you’ll be immersed in the world of Summer (Rolfs) and Solomon (Santos), a traveling jazz duo, accompanied by The Pianist (Andrew Sheranian) in what might be a final, possibly fatal, performance. Join Delta Miles as Judy Garland along with a cast of Provincetown’s beloved local artists as they bid adieu to 2023 and look toward the year to come. We’re back for Light Bright Bike Ride 2023 for a fun roll down Commercial Street in Provincetown! We will award prizes for the brightest, most colorful, and most creative bike decorations. The ride starts at 4:30 from the front of the Public Library and heads about a mile down the street to the near West End. Join us beforehand for bike decorating starting at 3 PM. Free!

The 1st set seating begins at 5:15 and the show starts at 7.  We’re serving a 3 course pre-fixe menu.  Lea DeLaria is backed by The Chris Grasso Trio with Chris on Piano, Ron Ormsby on Bass, and Bart Weisman on drums.

On New Years Day 2024, Provincetown will celebrate the seventh annual Polar Bear Plunge! On that day, hundreds of intrepid plungers will meet in the Johnson Street parking lot, collect tee-shirts, gather inspiration from tracks spun by our New Year’s Day DJ, and learn about the important work of the Center for Coastal Studies! At noon, weather permitting, registrants will run, splash and plunge into the waters of Provincetown Harbor.
