The Canteen’s Holiday Market and Winter Lodge is a month-long pop-up celebration offering a place to gather, warm up, enjoy holiday foods & drinks, buy handcrafted goods from local artisans & experience live music, performances & other events to fill you with warmth & holiday cheer!
THE WINTER LODGE
The Canteen’s Winter Lodge is a chalet-style pop-up restaurant featuring three heated, holiday-themed dining rooms serving classic European winter dishes like homemade pretzels, schnitzel, potato pancakes and grilled sausages (In addition to our traditional menu). The full bar features hot drinks like mulled wine and cider, hot chocolate, ski-lodge cocktails and a list of winter ales and ciders. The Winter Lodge is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 5 pm until 9/10 pm.THE
BACKYARD BAR AND FOOD HUT
The Canteen’s summer beach bar has been transformed for the holidays, complete with twinkling lights, snug blankets, fire pits & steaming mugs of hot cocktails and holiday drinks to warm your bones. During the day and night on Saturdays and Sundays, order a drink and some holiday street food favorites — choose from grilled sausages, pretzels, raclette, hot soups, potato pancakes — order a hot mulled wine or a spiked cider or a spiked hot chocolate and find a cozy nook to sit and enjoy the season with a blanket and friends! The backyard bar and food hut is open from 11am until about 6pm. After that, the party moves to the Living room bar
THE LIVING ROOM BAR
The coziest and maybe cutest spot in all of our transformations. Comfy sofas, loads of winter decorations and a full bar make the perfect setup for soaking in the holidays spirit. Warm up, order a craft cocktail, pet one of the dogs who popped in for a visit and be transported to a magical winter wonderland. Open everyday. Full bar service on Fri, Sat, Sun. 5-9/10pm.
THE HOLIDAY MARKET
The holiday gift market runs on Saturdays and Sundays featuring over 25 local vendors each day. This year’s vendors include favorites from years past and many new sellers, too, including local woodworkers, jewelers, painters, leatherworkers, & clothes makers. The vendors will open at 11 AM and stay open until at least 5 PM.
