    Jerry Holiday With Jake Glass
    Date: 2024-06-13     Time: 8 PM : 30 minutes

The Crown & Anchor in Provincetown is thrilled to have Jerry Holiday come and with Jake Glass open!

Jerry Holiday (formerly known as Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon) first learned to sing in church as a pastor’s kid in Louisiana before he was old enough to form a complete sentence.

Growing up in the Mississippi Delta region, Jerry’s earliest musical influences came from southern gospel, country blues and the jazz standards handed down to him from his grandmother. By the age of 16, he’d begun to write his first songs and perform at open mics around Memphis, Tennessee, eventually honing his crooning troubadour sound and drawing comparisons to the likes of Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley and Paul McCartney.

Formerly known as Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, he decided to change his name to Jerry Holiday, adapting his father’s first name and grandmother’s maiden name to both separate himself from his former identity as the American Idol finalist, and to reclaim his roots, combining the nostalgic influences of upbringing with the inherent progressivism of his uniquely queer perspective.
