Mosquito Story Slam – Heroes and Idols
    Date: 2023-06-10     Time: 7 PM : 0 minutes

From superheroes to rock stars, fathers to femme fatale‘s, we all have someone whose influence changed who we are for the better. Whether they wore a cape or worked at the corner store, sold out coliseums or found the cure, tell us a 5-minute, true story about an idol or hero who inspired, or perhaps even saved you!

The Mosquito Story Slam is a live storytelling event in its 10th season on the Outer Cape. Audience members are invited to prepare a 5-minute, true story based on the theme. 10 storytellers are chosen at random each night. Special guest host and audience favorites are featured nightly.

Mosquito stories are told, not read – no notes allowed! We find that successful stories connect strongly to the theme, have a sense of urgency or suspense and a great opening and closing line! Storyteller tips: practice in your car or on a jog, and record onto your phone for timing!
