Naming SALLY: An Interactive, Community-Based Storytelling Event presented by Provincetown Arts Society, The SALLY Project & Provincetown Arts Press. Presented in conjunction with On the Edge, the current art exhibition focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.The SALLY Project is named after Sally Hemings, a slave woman who had six children with Thomas Jefferson, erased from history. The event will remember her life and the voices of Provincetown women whose stories have been marginalized or forgotten.
