Dermot Meagher Retrospective at The Commons

Provincetown’s own Dermot Meagher will be showing a retrospective of his drawings, paintings, and sculpture at the Provincetown Commons, 46 Bradford St, for two weeks August 22 -Sept 2 2023.

Meagher’s images are enlivened by the rough intelligence of his mark making. He is able to depict both his interest in his subjects (clouds, scenes of Provincetown and foreign shores, colorful abstractions, naked men on the beach) and his sheer delight in seeing them.

Treat yourself to a good long look-over 20 years of work is on view, and there’s much that’s wonderful to see.
