First Look- An Evening Celebrating Provincetown Fashion

Join the Provincetown Art Society as they welcome the start of summer with “First Look – An Evening Celebrating Provincetown Fashion”. On Friday, June 2nd from 5-7 pm, six of Ptown’s own brands and makers will preview this year’s summer looks at the Mary Heaton Vorse house. The event brings together local designers and artists to showcase Provincetown’s diverse fashion and art scene in support of two local non-profits, Soup Kitchen in Provincetown, and Helping Our Women.

This year’s First Look event highlights the thriving fashion and design markets here in Provincetown and features designers and artists who find inspiration in this very special community. The occasion offers a unique glimpse into Ptown’s expanding art and design scene – providing a platform for exchanging ideas and an opportunity to gain insights into Provincetown’s influence on the broader design industry.

Attendees will get an exclusive preview of the designers’ collections with exhibitions of their most recent work. Craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served, along with a highly anticipated silent auction that features specialty experiences, designer apparel, and over 20 unique pieces by Provincetown’s most recognized and collected artists. Live music by the internationally acclaimed Mike Flanagan Trio will provide the perfect backdrop while local celebrity, the wonderfully fabulous Delta Miles emcees the proceedings.

This fundraiser showcases some of the best of Provincetown’s art and design talent while supporting important local community organizations. All proceeds from the event directly benefit Soup Kitchen in Provincetown and Helping Our Women, two non-profits dedicated to providing direct services to the Provincetown community.
