    Guide to May in Provincetown

    Single Womens Weekend Provincetown
    May 4, 2022

May Happenings Not To Miss, May 2022

In a boisterous “Dykes on Bikes” fashion, May flowers into a celebration of being outdoors, and what many consider the official kick-off to a Ptown Summer Season. Here’s what’s happening this May in Provincetown.

Memorial Weekend, also known as “Baby Dyke Weekend” for the attracted demographic, is the first of the major theme weeks in high season. There are myriad of lesbian parties and events, along with boating, dancing, pool parties, and drinking. A lot of drinking. But it’s not only baby dykes anymore. The second weekend of May has, in recent years, been Single Women’s Weekend (SWW), filled with lesbian speed-dating events. In 2020, SWW was rescheduled to October, as it is this year, to precent The Official Women’s Week.
