July 4, 2025 Throughout Provincetown
The Provincetown 4th of July Parade has featured colorful floats, marching bands, local organizations, and community groups. The parade starts at 11am in the center of town and proceeds along Commercial Street, the main thoroughfare in Provincetown. Spectators gather along the route to enjoy the procession and show their patriotic spirit and enjoy the fireworks at dusk from MacMillan Pier!

A Once in a lifetime evening of Celebration from the Mary Heaton Vorse House to the Beachcombers Club. Experience a merging of worlds supporting the Arts in Provincetown. 6PM – The Beachcomber Exhibition featuring the works of the Beachcombers, then and now. Between Lancy’s Wharf and the engine house of the Colonial Cold Storage plant is a three-story building that once housed the Old Reliable Fish House restaurant and pier, now a forlornly abandoned near-ruin. The structure was a prominent pier from the mid-19th through the mid-20th century. In the 1960s and ’70s, the Old Reliable Fish House restaurant at the head of the pier was the haunt of Howard Mitcham, local character and chef. More Info…
