    Provincetown Theater presents Autocrat, Inc. by Cody Sullivan follows twin cops and their twin nephews on Bring your Kids to Work day. One of the brothers, Farcus, has just arrested three citizens protesting the purchase of the Autocrat Coffee Syrup company by Amazon. Marcus questions the legality and morality of the arrest. We see the cops and their nephews question the bonds of family, the need to survive, and whether to listen to that aching moral pit in your stomach when you question if what you’re doing is right.

    Anchored in Community: 175 Years of Seamen’s Bank in Provincetown

    At the heart of Provincetown’s waterfront history stands Seamen’s Bank, an institution whose story mirrors the evolution of Cape Cod itself. Founded in 1851 by David Fairbanks and other local businessmen and mariners, the bank emerged during a period when Provincetown was thriving as a fishing, whaling, and maritime center. Sailors, captains, merchants, and fishing families needed a secure place to protect earnings earned at sea, and the new community bank answered that need. More than simply a financial institution, Seamen’s Bank became a stabilizing force for a town shaped by the unpredictability of the Atlantic Ocean.
