    Provincetown’s Art Gallery Stroll

    Fridays June 21, 2024 – October 11, 2024 @ 6pm at Throughout Provincetown

    Provincetown’s Art Gallery Stroll, also known as The Stroll. This summer and fall, Provincetown’s weekend social scene launches every Friday night, when many of our local galleries along Commercial and Bradford streets fling their doors open wide. Provincetown’s local galleries often plan exhibition openings during these hours, and you never know who you might get to rub elbows with over a cheese board! Several nonprofits hold events and open houses and also participate in new exhibitions, exciting events, and engaging pop-up shows! Check out what’s happening this week…

    Admission to Provincetown Art Association and Museum is Free Friday at 5pm evenings from May-October thanks to our Free Fridays sponsors: Perfect Picnic, Perry’s Fine Wines and Liquors, Provincetown Art Gallery Association (PAGA), Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod, and WOMR Outermost Community Radio.

    Start Making Sense: Talking Heads Tribute

    Saturday June 22, 2024 @ 7pm at Payomet Tent

    Back by popular demand! Start Making Sense: Talking Heads Tribute that will get you off your feet and dancing – Payomet Tent clearing the floor to make room for the party! If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this 7-10 piece Talking Heads Tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the music of Talking Heads entire career. Together they bring much of the Heads unique live show to the stage, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, some have said this is the closest thing you’ll get to seeing Talking Heads again, giving you a “once in a lifetime” experience. Prepare yourself for a rockin’, funkin’, danceable celebration of the new-wave art punk you loved from the 80’s!

    Blink: Zoe Lewis Album Release Show and a free signed CD with every ticket purchased at the Red Room in Provincetown on June 25 @ 7pm. Now it’s time to celebrate her 10th album of original compositions entitled “BLINK.” She’ll be joined by a whole host of stellar musicians and friends!

    Far Land on the Beach Sunset Music

    Wednesdays June 19, 2024 – August 28, 2024 @ 6:30pm at Far Land on the Beach

    Far Land on the Beach is very happy to announce the return of Sunset Music on the Beach for the 2024 summer season at the Herring Cove concession. Live local music will once again return center stage on Wednesdays. So bring your beach chairs and a hearty appetite for food, drinks, music and dancing! The concession itself will open Memorial Day Weekend for our 12th season. See you on the beach!

    Sunday Funday at Truro Vineyards has Foods, Drinks, Music and Vibes with DJ Emerson and Crush Pad Food Truck. Every Sunday for 5:30-7:30 PM. No Reservations needed but First Come-First Serve.

    Betty Buckley @ Town Hall

    Tony Award-winning Broadway, film and TV legend Betty Buckley will headline Provincetown Town Hall performance as part of a revived and expanded Broadway music series produced by the Grammy and Emmy Award-winning artist John McDaniel and presented by Post Office Cafe & Cabaret and Tin Pan Alley.

    Join The Generations Project on June 22 at the Gifford House in Provincetown for “Love’s Legacy: 20 Years of Marriage Equality,” commemorating 2004’s first legal same-sex marriages in the US. Hear stories of joy, celebration, tension, and fear from that pivotal summer.
