Outer Cape Chorale presents ‘Songs to Light the Way’

    November 1, 2022

In the dark season of winter, the Outer Cape Chorale will present a concert of beautiful choral pieces to help inspire and light our way in the world.

Frostiana, written by Randall Thompson, is a delightful collection of 7 poems by Robert Frost that was commissioned in 1958 for the two-hundredth anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Amherst, Massachusetts.  Voicings alternate between full choir, soprano/alto choir and tenor/bass choir.  These variations create unusual vocal colors and are sure to delight!
