    November 17 thru 19, 2023 throughout Provincetown

Come see the annual pageant to crown Mr. New England Leather 2024! In addition to the competition and the following Victory Celebration, the weekend is full of opportunities to socialize and show off your gear in Provincetown!

In 2023, one of Holly Folly’s biggest traditions is welcoming entertainers to Provincetown throughout the weekend at Provincetown Town Hall. There is a holiday market, Jingle Bell Run and Champagne Brunch (a Santa run in bathing suits), dance parties, sing-alongs, and drag bingo, to just name a few other events. Always a fabulous time.

    The Canteen Holiday Market

November 22 thru December 31, 2023 at The Canteen

The beloved Provincetown tradition is back for its seventh year at The Canteen Holiday Market! Starting the day after Thanksgiving and running until New Years, the Canteen transforms into a magical, cozy place to gather, enjoy holiday foods and drinks, and buy handcrafted goods from local artisans. This year, we will be offering several different experiences for you to enjoy — all in one trip or over several outings to our little “village.”

Join Truro Vineyards on Friday November 24th & Saturday November 25th for our annual Outdoor Holiday Market featuring local Cape Cod artists! Kick off the holiday season by shopping local while sipping on wine & cocktails, eating lunch from the Crush Pad Food truck.

    Provincetown Lobster Pot Tree Lighting

November 25, 2023 at Lopes Square

The Lighting of the Lobster Pot Tree, is a Provincetown tradition to ring in the holiday season. In 2004, artist Julian Popko designed the Lobster Pot Tree in Lopes Square to recognize the hard-working local lobstermen. The tree is built from real lobster traps and is decorated with lights and bows. At dusk, the community gathers to sing carols, drink hot cocoa and count down for the lights to be illuminated. We thank the Popko family for their ongoing commitment to kicking off the holidays in Provincetown!

I’d Rather Be Naughty Than Nice,” the show also alternates between Tina Burner’s signature mixes and live arrangements of pop and holiday standards orchestrated by Broadway’s Blake Allen at Crown & Anchor in Provincetown thru December 2nd.
