4-Star Solo Show Festival – That Dorothy Parker

Created and performed by the acclaimed actress and playwright Carol Lempert, The New York Times hailed her work, That Dorothy Parker, “A witty, biting, touching slice of literary history.” As directed by Janice L. Goldberg in a brisk 90-minutes, That Dorothy Parker weaves the story of its trailblazing writer via her stinging wit, fierce intellect, and passionate relationships (both literary and intimate) with stories from the decade she spent holding court at Manhattan’s legendary Algonquin Round Table.
The Mosquito Story Slam tell us a 5-minute, true story about an idol or hero who inspired, or perhaps even saved you at Provincetown Theater!
The X1023 80’s Prom
Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 7pm at Provincetown Town Hall
Kick off the summer of 2023 at the X1023.fm 80’s Prom and dance the night away to live performances by C&C Music Factory, Shannon, Alisha, and Company B. You don’t want to miss this party at the Provincetown Town Hall Auditorium. Legendary DJ Tad Bonvie will be spinning the best of the 80’s between the live performances and giving away awesome prizes. Around Town Events will cater the event. Doors open at 6:30, and the party begins at 7 PM.

Millions of people each year view the friendly and playful cetaceans that frequent the waters of New England between April and October. Eighty-five years after the region’s whaling industry disappeared, whale watching is a multi-million-dollar business in New England.
A (Black) Flash in the Pan: Provincetown’s Boogeyman
The creature was seen in the East End and then, minutes later, in the West End, arguing for wings on its feet. A number of names were tried on to describe it, some calling it the Devil of the Dunes, others the Provincetown Phantom; but it’s the name that stuck, the Black Flash, which took into account the creature’s impossible speed.
