Pride Takes Over Provincetown
The Provincetown Business Guild (PBG) presents the 9th annual Provincetown Pride Festival on June 4-7, 2026. This celebration of America’s premier LGBTQ+ destination and the full spectrum of the queer community will feature a Pride Ferry Crossing, Pride Flag Raising at the Pilgrim Monument, a Pride Rally at Town Hall, the Born This Way Queer Pride Variety Show, official Pride parties, a 5K run and walk, and more.
“We at the PBG get asked often, ‘Isn’t it Pride every day in Provincetown?’ said Rachael Brister, executive director of the Provincetown Business Guild. “And they’re right. But that’s exactly the point. Provincetown isn’t a gayborhood or a queer-friendly corner of a larger city. It’s an entire town whose identity, culture, and economy have been shaped and sustained by the LGBTQ+ community for decades. There is nowhere else like it in the country. Now more than ever, that matters. Pride is how we say to every person who needs to hear it: you are welcome here, you are seen here, and you belong here.”
Pride weekend kicks off Thursday evening with the Official Pride Ferry Crossing on Bay State Cruise Co. departing at 5:30 p.m. Sail to Provincetown with your LGBTQ+ community, with Pride flags flying high and the energy of the weekend ahead. Tickets are available through Bay State Cruise Co.
Later that evening, gather at the Pilgrim Monument at 7 p.m. for the first Official Pride Flag Raising on the Hill, a free community event marking the official start of Provincetown Pride 2026.
On Friday afternoon, try your luck at Pride Bingo at the Provincetown Inn at 3 p.m., hosted by Paige Turner. That night, the Official Pride Kickoff Party at Crown & Anchor, starting at 9 p.m., sets the tone for the weekend with music by Tommy Hart.

On Saturday, June 6, it’s time for the Pride Market, Rally, and the always fierce Sashay to Tea. This year, the Pride Market moves outside to a new location: the parking lot of Seamen’s Bank at 221 Commercial Street. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., browse the market tables with offerings from LGBTQ+ artisans, vendors, Pride sponsors, plus see, smell, and taste the brand new Provincetown Pride Spice. A partnership between the Cambridge, MA-based Curio Spice Co. and the Provincetown Business Guild, this unique seafood spice blend honors Provincetown’s Portuguese fishing community and supports the PBG’s work by donating 10% of the spice’s net sales to the PBG.
At 3 p.m. on the steps of Town Hall, the Pride Rally will channel Provincetown’s rich legacy of queer activism and community engagement with inspiring words and songs from a diverse lineup of voices, including representatives from Womxn of Color Weekend, State Senator Julain Cyr, Select Board Member Leslie Sandberg, queer Pakistani activist, educator, and advocate, Muhammad Burhan, singer Tori Mclean, poet Tamora Israel and hosted by Mackenzie Miller and Austin Tyler. Following the rally, the crowd will ‘Sashay to Tea’ at 4:30 p.m. along Commercial Street — a beloved Ptown Pride tradition.

On Saturday night, the PBG presents a brand new show at Town Hall: Born this Way, a Queer Pride Variety Show. Hosted by Nina West, this show features a packed night of Provincetown performers showcasing the creativity, spirit, and sheer talent of this town. Directed by Mike Flanagan, the show blends drag, comedy, live vocals, music, dance, and storytelling into one dynamic lineup. Each act reflects the range of voices that define Provincetown’s queer culture. The cast includes Thirsty Burlington, The Divas!, Mackenzie, Lily Mae Harrington, Tamora Israel, Kristen Becker, May Happs, A Woman Named Carlos, Qya Crystál, Miss Conception, Miss Richfield 1981, Alexander Zenoz, Jon Richardson, songs from Jack of Hearts Club by Peter Toto, Angelo McDonough, Brittany Rolfs, and Marissa Miller. Plus live art by Mike Adams.

The show promises an unforgettable evening of performances celebrating queer artistry and joy. Tickets are available at events.humanitix.com/born-this-way-provincetown. Following the show, the Born This Way After Party continues the festivities at A-House starting at 9 p.m.

Sunday morning, June 7, the Welltown 5K Run & Walk – Pride Edition (new name!) starts at the Harbor Hotel in Provincetown’s East End and runs the length of Commercial Street to the Provincetown Inn in the West End, including the length of Macmillan Pier. Pets and kids are also welcome to participate, with special rates available for youth and seniors. Participants will receive complimentary post-race beverages and snacks, a commemorative tank top, and placement prizes will be awarded.
Provincetown Pride is made possible with support from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Gilead, Seamen’s Bank, Cape Cod 5, Surfside, Provincetown Inn, Harbor Hotel, Vitamin Water, and Ptown Gym.
