    Town Crier Graphic

From the Town Crier: Rose Dorothea

Imagine all the things you’d expect to find inside a library. Books, magazines, perhaps an interesting art collection, etc. And then there’s Provincetown’s Public Library, which contains all of the above—plus a half-scale replica of the Rose Dorothea, a champion ‘Indian Head’ racing schooner, occupying the second and third floors. Also, don’t miss the Lipton Cup on the first floor, once the largest trophy minted in England and reputed to be worth $5,000 in 1907 dollars.

356 Commercial Street, (508) 487-7094. Admission is free!
